Meet Dr. Frey
Dr. Bill Frey has been a Los Gatos resident for over 50 years, having grown up in town attending Fisher Middle School, Los Gatos High School and then the University of Santa Clara. After graduation from SCU Dr. Frey was accepted to Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri from which he graduated in 1977. After dental school graduation Dr. Frey did a one-year Dental General Practice Residency at Denver General Hospital in Denver, Colorado. In July of 1978 Dr. Frey began his practice in General Dentistry at the practice’s current location on Bachman Ave. in downtown Los Gatos. The current Dental Practice has always centered around care for the entire family and Dr. Frey currently sees many second and the occasional third generation patients. Dr. Frey has always been and continues to be a very active member of the Los Gatos community. He is a member and past president of the Los Gatos Lions Club, a past president of Los Gatos Little League, where he coached for over 25 years, a past president and former coach of Los Gatos Pony baseball, a founding Board member of the Los Gatos United Soccer League, a board member and principal fund raiser for the Los Gatos Athletic Association (which supports Los Gatos High School sports), a founding member and current chair of the Los Gatos High School Hall of Fame committee, and the list goes on. Dr. Frey is married to Susan Frey, who taught at Fisher Middle School for 20 years. They have 2 grown children, Megan and Craig and 5 grand-daughters. Dr. Frey has been voted “Los Gatos’ Best Dentist” by the readers of the Los Gatos Weekly on numerous occasions.
